This blog is a simple effort to show the work I’m doing to improve my cyber security related skills with occasional diversions into related topics. In addition to the practical activities I’m undertaking, I’m trying to improve my writing skills by practicing documenting and communicating things I’ve done so others can understand them easily. Hopefully this will also help other practitioners in their own journeys.

My usual tag is sleepyblinky, which is the origin for this site name.

Who am I?

My name is Clifton Plummer, a cyber security professional currently based in Canberra Australia. I am passionate about cyber security and working to expand my knowledge and build experience across the professional domains. I have several years experience working in a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) role with some blue team operations work when required.

I have a broad scope of interests, with elements of digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, network testing, web application testing, and vulnerability research all being fascinating me.
